The carpets had been steamed and sprayed with Febreeze, the walls had been painted and the surfaces scrubbed, but anyone who has moved into a smoker's apartment knows that no amount of cleaning will get rid of that smokey odor.
The Renuzit Pearls were a last-ditch effort that honestly, I didn't expect to work. Luckily, I was wrong! The nice, light scent of the pearls did not last the full 90-days (I only noticed the scent for about 3 weeks) but the smoke smell is gone! I bought 2 Pearl pots for our 700sq.ft. apartment and they worked like a charm. Now when we walk into the apartment, we don't have to apologize to guests for the cigarette smell. I would definitely recommend this product to any renter who doesn't want to live with the previous tenant's smells.
