One scent stick would be just enough to give the tree a little scent, but I put two on my tree 1. because we have a very large room and 2. I really wanted to smell the tree fragrance from all over the room. I had a real christmas tree last year and it did not even come close to smelling as good as these scent sticks do. Smells natural and not overly perfume-y. I definitely recommend these to anyone who misses the smell of a real christmas tree. Will definitely be buying these again!
